Our chapter

Educators are innovators.

NVASLA is one of 49 ASLA chapters in the United States.  Each chapter defines their own mission to guide the organization’s activities.

“The mission of the Nevada Chapter of ASLA (NVASLA) is the continuous education of its members, the public and the profession and to promote the stewardship of the environment.”

NVASLA provides opportunities for professional networking, continuing education and promotion the profession through mentorships and scholarships for students. NVASLA is lead by an Executive Committee that organizes committees and volunteers to achieve the mission of the organization.

Committees
Committee members play a huge party helping the chapter reach it’s goals.   Through the talents and time of professionals, NVASLA is able to organize fundraisers, annual golf tournaments and awards banquets, social mixers, mentorships for students, community outreach and other events throughout the year.  Visit our committee page  to learn more about our committees.

Volunteers
By sharing their time and talents, NVASLA members make a difference in others’ lives. Through volunteers, we can expand the Chapter’s resources and abilities to challenge our organization to do better. Volunteers stretch themselves with new challenges and learn new skills. You don’t have to be a member of NVASLA to be a volunteer. Be a part of our landscape architecture community, feel satisfaction by helping others, and have fun, volunteer today!
